 |
The
Consulting Enterprise is a
four-day training workshop built to support the learning, understanding,
and skill development necessary to master the key components of excellent
consulting.
 |
The overarching goal of this course is
to increase the likelihood of having participants’ expertise used
and their recommendations adopted and implemented by clients.
|
 |
It contains learning experiences
designed to present experiential and theoretical modules to match
every learning style.
 |
When
requested, there are special modules on unique aspects of internal
consulting that can be added to target specific participant needs. |
|
 |
Taught
by a consultant with over twenty years internal and external
consulting experience, the down-to-earth lectures, examples and
situation vignettes bring models to life and help put theory into
action.
|
 |
Other teaching tools include small
group work, learning application trios, customized case studies, a
work style inventory and one-on-one, one-on-three skill feedback.
|
Course
Principles
 |
The
best internal and external consultants use an eight-step-consulting
framework to direct their work with clients. This framework provides
the infrastructure, which produces quality deliverables and sound,
long-term relationships with their clients.
|
 |
To
maintain credibility and influence with clients, consultants must be
confident and competent in pacing, leading and/or following the client
... and being able to shift that direction at will.
|
 |
When
studied over time, the highest impact consultants consistently
demonstrate master consulting and interpersonal competencies in
performing their work. Those competencies are:
